caleufu

A wonderfull three day, two night overnight float trip through the wildness of Patagonia

The Caleufu is a moderately sized river floatable in the early season. Starting from a series of mountain glacier lakes and running through an incredible canyon, this breathtaking river provides for an unforgettable three day float. Best fished from the first week of December through early February, the Caleufu offers wonderful and productive dry-fly fishing for rainbows and browns in the 14-19 inch range with a few lunkers in the deeper runs. Quality first class camps, a camp staff, and gear boat make the float comfortable and hassle free.
